Discover Scottish Gardens is delighted to announce this September will see the launch of a new and exciting month-long event, the Scottish Gardens Month.
Many will visit Scotland’s gardens during the spring and summer months with much anticipated events and popular plant collections. However, the gardens may be missed as a destination and perfect place to visit in the month of September when gardens, woodlands and orchards are often a fantastic retreat offering the best day out during a traditionally sunny month.

The Scottish Gardens Month will launch on the 1st September and run until 30th September with weekly events and activities for visitors to enjoy. With 5 different themes running throughout the month, celebrate with one or as many themes as you like; Scottish gardens will be hosting an array of events and activities every week.
Week 1 Tuesday 1st-Saturday 5th: flora, wild flowers and prairie gardens
Week 2 Sunday 6th-Saturday 12th: stories & sculptures in Scotland’s gardens
Week 3 Sunday 13th-Saturday 19th: grow your own and kitchen gardens
Week 4 Sunday 20th-Saturday 26th: adventure & discover
Week 5 Sunday 27th-Wednesday 30th: the odd & amazing
