Kinlochlaich Gardens: Glorious Gardens of Argyll
The octagonal walled garden, built circa 1790, sits hidden in the Highland landscape. The mild climate of the Gulf Stream enables an amazing range of plants to grow and thrive.
We have been developing the various Gardens since 1975.
Our gardens - Bluebell Woodland Walk, which we are developing to have great autumnal colours; Walled garden, which also houses an extensive selection of plants for sale - many rare and unusual; Fruit and Vegetable Gardens - figs, apricots, peaches, nectarines and several vines; Spring Garden with a huge Rhododendron falconeri with its stunning peeling bark and Japanese bridge, enable the visitor to see many plants thriving that they don't see elsewhere.. our specialities are Tropaeolum, Enkianthus, Rhods and Azaleas, Davidia, Sciadopitys, Magnolia, Rambling Roses, Eucryphia, Camellia, Crinodendron, Desfontania, Parrottia, Embothrium and many Acers
