Noel is returning to Logie for another thought provoking and informative workshop day.
Plants react to the seasons, but the already somewhat unpredictable British climate is now even more so. How does this affect plants? And what are the implications for gardening in northerly latitudes?
Noel introduces us to some of the basic science behind plants' response to the weather and climate, drawing on the experience of colleagues in Scandinavia and Russia. He will look at how we can predict what will flourish as well as how we can make the most of the full length of the garden year.
