Herb Day for Scotland’s Gardens

July 17th, 2016 - July 17th, 2016

The open day, will be dedicated to the herbs we grow in the palace’s physic garden.
This garden was inspired by Mary Queen of Scots and planted with 16th century herbs.

Falkland Palace & Garden’s unique Herb Day will provide a fantastic opportunity for visitors to learn more about how these versatile plants have been used through the ages – from creating perfumes and flavouring foods, to treating ailments and providing a staple ingredient for traditional crafts.
